Job Dimension

Le PRESTATAIRE assurera la réalisation des tâches suivantes :

  • Manage all planning functions on the Project and Tender, in accordance with the client and Planning procedures
  • Manage all Planning functions on Tendering, during bidding phase
  • Follow-up of schedule relative to all vessels within Africa region. Conduct interproject vessel simulation as needed to help resolve clashes.
  • Development of Project and Tender specific procedures including work breakdown structure and progress measurement methods in accordance with company requirements
  • Organise flow of planning and progress information with internal and external sources
  • Development and maintenance of the baseline schedule for company's approval including planned progress s-curves and reporting formats
  • Prepare progress reports in a timely fashion including statement of critical paths and deviations against approved baseline
  • Prepare forecast schedules based on actual project status and anticipated evolutions
  • Prepare specific schedules and what-if simulations
  • Ensure that changes are taken into consideration and be pro-active in early identification of deviations and corrective actions
  • Keep record of changes made to schedules through various revisions
  • Preparation of the project planning report and ensuring planning input for Corporate reporting is provided in a timely fashion
  • Work hand in hand with the Project and Tender cost engineer to provide resources schedule and actual progress and feed COBRA
  • Work hand in hand with the Project and Tender risk manager and Project and Tender document controller

Qualifications Required

Preferred Experience and Education

  • Professional qualifications - Education equally to degree in engineering and administrative discipline
  • Software: Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
  • Relevant previous experience at an appropriate level in the subsea or offshore environment and onshore fabrications
  • At least 5 years in a similar position. Experience on project as lead planning engineer preferred.


  • Knowledge in key areas of planning and an understanding of current good engineering practice

  • Independently evaluate, organise and prioritise work for self and others


  • Understanding of the Offshore Oil and Gas industry
