SENIOR Oil&Gas Recruitment Consultant


  • The Recruitment Consultant is responsible to identify, retain and propose candidates to our existing clientele.
  • The Recruitment Consultant is responsible for negotiations regarding rates and transforming them into technical propositions.
  • The Recruitment Consultant is responsible for the generating technical propositions the agreed targets (+5 PTA's per week).
  • The Recruitment Consultant is responsible for creating and maintaining pools of candidates belonging to their specialties.
  • The Recruitment Consultant is responsible for Business Development tasks according to the discipline chosen.
  • The Recruitment Consultant is responsible for creating placement opportunities, 2-3 per month minimum.
  • Training and Assisting of the Junior Consultants.
  • Will take over certain tasks of the Recruitment Manager when absent.

Key Responsibilities of the Recruitment Consultant

  • Responsible for providing project related Technical Proposals (PTA) to our clients.
  • Responsible for accurate calculations in pricing grids for worldwide placements - contracts.
    (taking into account: local content worldwide, various taxes worldwide, work scheme conditions per project, pricing matrixes per project/client, offshore certificates, visas and/or work permits, rotation shifts).
  • Responsible for one (1) discipline and creating this specialty pillar within the recruitment department (HSE, Subsea, Yard/Vessel Construction, QA/QC etc.)
  • Talent Sourcing Oil & Gas profiles.
  • Creating candidate pools per discipline.
  • Responsible for uploading profiles to the management system (Bullhorn).
  • Acquisition - Business Development - Directing contacts to direct business and cross-selling opportunities to other or new business line and/or functional areas
  • Managing interviews and creating shortlist of candidates.
  • Requesting references and checking the suitability of applicants before submission to client.
  • Compilation of job profiles.
  • Preparation of mobilization pre-contracts for the Contract Department.
  • Preparation of the Handover Procedures for the Logistic Department.
  • Offering advice to both clients and candidates on training and career progression.
  • Relationship management (identifying problems and bottlenecks on a regular basis on behalf of the customer and employees side).
  • Contribution to the overall performance of the teams business.
  • Responsible for individual weekly reporting on KPI's.
    KPI's for Senior Recruitment Consultants: +5x PTA's per week / 1-3 interviews per month / 2-3 placements per month
  • Weekly meeting
    (discussing KPI's, strategy, jobs, clients, consultants, company related information.

4.Degree and Competencies Acquired

  • A higher professional degree or Equal
  • At least 3-5 years experience in Oil&Gas and/or Engineering & IT Recruitment
  • Experience with interview techniques
  • Experience in Sourcing Methods
  • Experience with targets and KPI's
  • Excellent internal and external communication skills
  • Excellent command of the French and English language
