INSPECTION & RBI ENGINEER

Job Dimension

The SUBCONTRACTOR will perform the following tasks (Part time at Paris Operation Center (POC), and Geoje (Korea - Yard site):
  • Technical assistance on the development of detailed Inspection Plans, including:
  • Selection of NDE techniques depending on the damage mechanisms, asset configuration and design characteristics (accessibility, insulation, PFP/CSP, operating conditions, etc.)
  • Extent of inspection fulfilling the recommendations from a Risk Based Inspection (RBI) Program (API RP 581), and/or other requirements (Codes, Legislation, Flag and Classification requirements)
  • Estimation of material and special items required to achieve the inspection plans proposed, as well as the human resources necessary.
  • Selection of specific TML/CML on equipment and lines.
  • Baseline Inspection:
  • Planning, and preparation of a Baseline survey program, coordinated with the activities foreseen over construction and commissioning phases.
  • Execution of the Baseline survey plan during commissioning phase.
  • Periodical reporting of progress and results.
  • Implementation of Baseline survey results in the Computerized Maintenance Manage System (CMMS)
  • Issuing a Monthly Report to the Head Of Department summarizing main tasks of the current month.

BASIC DOCUMENTATION
The basic documentation provided to SUBCONTRACTOR is:
  • The Project Documents
  • The Department Welcome Booklet (QHSE Booklet….)

PROCEDURES - METHODOLOGY
Project Procedures, the State of Art, as well as the Quality Procedures applicable to the relevant project, shall be implemented, in particular for:
  • Performing the Scope Of Work requested



Required profile

The services to be performed by The SUBCONTRACTOR require the following skills and experience:
  • BSc Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, Materials Science/Metallurgy or equivalent
  • NDE experience (certificate level 2 or 3 would be very valued)
  • Minimum experience of 10 years in Oil & Gas
  • Knowledge of RBI Methodology, Pressure Equipment / Piping Inspection Codes. Specific Experience in Projects under Classification Requirements for Offshore Units shall be very valued
  • Full professional proficiency in English
  • Good Teamwork and inter-personal skills
  • Experience in Inspection, Corrosion, Opération et Maintenance, Onshore / Offshore
  • Skills : ex primavera, PDMS, ms project
