ELECTRICAL PACKAGE ENGINEER

Job Dimension

Project: FPSO
Responsibilities:
Produce relevant project documentation related to Electrical Requirement for packaged equipment; including:
  • HV and/or LV motors.
  • HV and/or LV drives.
  • Electric Heaters.
  • Emergency Diesel Generators.
  • Review Bidders offer, produce clarifications and attend clarification meetings.
  • Produce technical bids tabulation for integration in the overall technical bid tabulation issued by the Lead Package Requisition.
  • Identify the electrical interfaces between Packaged Equipment and other equipment (PDCS, SWG, ...).
  • Inform Package requisition leader of any changes of applicable deliverables for further action towards Bidders and/or Vendors.
  • Ensure Vendor's documentation review for technical compliance to contract specification of GTG Gen_sets; HV motors, HV drives and Emergency generator.
  • Provide input for answer to COMPANY comments.
  • Populate and/or check all required Vendor's data in an Engineering Database.
  • (SPEL or AVEVA Elec).
  • Support other Operating Centers for the subsequent engineering of Packaged Equipment (cables installation; connecting; …).
  • Regular reporting to the Lead Discipline Engineer (or its delegate), about missing data, Vendor's Documentation submission progress and delays. technical issues.
  • Identify all necessary interfaces whether internal, external or 'inter-discipline' and coordinate with the Lead Discipline Engineer or its delegate.
  • Prepare and attend FAT when required.
  • Identify and alert on any change introduce by COMPANY or any other Parties.

The basic documentation provided to SUBCONTRACTOR is FEED documentation produced for this contract.

PROCEDURES - METHODOLOGY
Project Procedures and the Quality Procedures applicable to the relevant project, shall be
implemented.





Qualifications Required

The services to be performed by The SUBCONTRACTOR require the following skills and
experience:
  • Suitable experience in HV/LV motors/Drives are looked for.
  • Suitable experience in Gaz turbine Generator (electrical part ) can be looked for
  • Knowledge of Engineering workflow.
  • Knowledge of IEC standards.
  • Experience of off-shore project with CLASS requirements.
  • Fluent English (writing of technical documents, minute of meeting, interface with partners, client, ...).
