Job Dimension

The service holder assists the Communication Leader in all tasks related to communication for the project, specifically in charge of internal communication and events.
The service holder will support the Communication Leader in the update and implementation of
Communication Plan and associated budget, giving expertise and operationality in the organization and management of internal and external communications and related events.
In order to get assistance and support, the service holder will have to liaise, under Communication Leader's responsibility, with Corporate Africa Geographical Direction and relevant entities from Corporate and from Angola.
The service holder reports to the Communication Leader.
The service holder is also accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSSE rules & requirements and for implementing these HSSE rules and requirements within his area of responsibility.


  • To adopt & demonstrate an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSSE rules & requirements and for implementing these rules and requirements within his area of responsibility.
  • To be informed of Company Rules and Specifications (CR's/GS's), Angola and

Corporate procedures, etc. related to Communication for application to the Project.
  • To assist in the regular update of the Communication Plan in liaison with Africa
  • Geographical Direction and relevant entity of the Affiliate and with the support of Corporate Communication entities.
  • To assist in the follow-up and revision of the Communication Budget.

To implement the Communication Plan, specifically internal communication and events, with assistance and support from relevant entities of Angola and Corporate through:
  • Preparation and issue of brochures, bulletins, leaflet, videos, posters...
  • Organisation of events, Team building sessions, Site visits...
  • Design and maintenance of an Intranet Website
  • Etc.
  • To provide expertise and advice in terms of innovative communication tools/support for the Project.
  • To bring assistance and support to the Communication leader for the selection and

implementation of these tools, and to bring expertise and assistance in the design and issue of all communication supports and media, in line with Affiliate and Corporate Communication requirements and rules.
  • To develop synergies in terms of communication with other projects and specifically Angolan projects.
  • To assist Project Management in the preparation of Project presentations (from a
  • Communication point of view), set up and keep updated a library of all presentations.
  • To assist the Project Director and the team as a general manner for all matters related to communication issues.
  • To timely report to the Communication Leader, highlighting progress and encountered areas of concern.
  • To observe and impose strict confidentiality in the data and information classified

  • To gather 'lessons learnt' wrt to Communication matters and provide feedback to other

entities as required.
