Role :
  • The C&Q Supervisor along with GC Commissioning Engineers and Vendors will ensure that system commissioning & qualification planning and execution in their field of responsibility are delivered in accordance with the overall commissioning strategy adopted for the project in synchronization with overall Project Execution Plan (PEP), Commissioning & Qualification Plan (CQP), Validation Master Plan (VMP) and Project SHE plan to ensure the project is delivered to the commissioning expectation.
  • C&Q Supervisor under supervision of C&Q Lead will ensure that the systems which are Mechanically Complete, PSSR completed and comply with Start-up, Commissioning & Qualification Pre-requisites before approving any site execution works.
  • C&Q Supervisor will assist C&Q Lead attending daily Commissioning PDR, managing and reporting Commissioning activities in their field of responsibility.

SHE, Commissioning Planning and Execution:
  • Clearly understands the project SHE Program and recommend any improvements to the C&Q Lead or EHS manager.
  • LOTO procedure implementation during C&Q phase.
  • Assist C&Q Lead with overall communication for their field of responsibility.
  • Reviews commissioning protocols to ensure that documentation quality is fit for purpose. Details in documentation shall at least cover key system performance data post successful commissioning, qualification and system operations in accordance to design.
  • Responsible for chairing kick-off meetings for start-up and commissioning & qualification activities participated by GC, contractors and the company. Action any issues identified during kick-off meetings.
  • Attends the daily commissioning & qualification coordination meeting to assist the C&Q Lead in planning, reporting and promptly following up on actions related to their field of responsibility.
  • Manages and participates in witness execution participated by GC and contractors to ensure that activities are carried out in accordance to approved commissioning & qualification documents.
  • Monitors the completion of work performed against commissioning and qualification documentation completion during C&Q phase for their field of responsibility.
  • Identify, report, and follow up any commissioning & qualification deviations with the project construction team identified during commissioning & qualification of systems in their field of responsibility.
  • Proactively monitors the installation of Systems and Equipment in terms of Commissioning & qualification operability, and ensures all necessary construction activities are completed prior to taking over the system for commissioning & qualification.
  • Ensures that scope as per contract and system boundary limits are defined and meets design intent with accurate documented evidence.
  • Summarise system status post commissioning & qualification in a report to document its performance against design and any observation or deviation found during system operations.

Quality Control:
  • Ensures that the planning stage and execution stage commissioning & qualification quality assurance and control are of high standards.
  • System performance during commissioning & qualification / post commissioning & qualification meets the project requirements.
  • Provides Commissioning & Qualification Dossier and Reports in a timely manner to support documentation handover
  • Utilities Systems (Chilled Water System, Hot Water, Steam & Condensate, Soften Water, Effluence System, Compressed Air - 8 Barg, Compressed Air - 10 Barg)
  • Fire Protection System

Required profile

  • Minimum 4 years of working experiences in Pharmaceutical projects with qualification experiences.
  • Minimum of 5 - 8 years of working experiences in commissioning execution/ management
  • At least Bachelor degree in Mechanical or relevant areas.
  • Able to write and converse in French and English.
