Job Dimension

Project : FLNG
  • Participate in the Paris (POC) CSU preparation activities including attending FAT testing of equipment relevant to his discipline.
  • Organize, plan and manage the execution of the Discipline Commissioning of the FLNG Hull and Topsides Systems. Including
  • Integration activities in different phases of the Project.


Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Play an active role in determining the Discipline Commissioning work preparation and execution of the FLNG systems throughout the Onshore and Offshore Phases of the project.
  • Ensure that all HSE and Permit to Work Requirements are in place for the discipline requirements during the Onshore and Offshore Commissioning Phases of the Project.
  • Ensure there are sufficient, suitably qualified discipline Commissioning personnel from the CONSORTIUM within the Commissioning team during all phases of the project.
  • Ensure that adequate discipline resources, manpower and test equipment are available from the CONSORTIUM to perform the discipline commissioning activities, throughout the Onshore and Offshore all Phases of the Project, to maintain the project schedule requirements. Utilise EASYPLANT, for the preparation, execution and monitoring of discipline Commissioning activities of the FLNG throughout the, Onshore and Offshore all Phases of the Project.
  • Maintain and Preserve discipline related equipment during the Onshore and Offshore Commissioning Phases of the Project.
  • Ensure that discipline related temporary equipment and Commissioning consumables are available during the, Onshore and Offshore. Commissioning Phases of the Project. Ensure that discipline related Commissioning spares are utilised and maintained during the, Onshore and Offshore
  • Commissioning Phases of the Project.



Qualifications Required
  • Must have previous experience on Onshore or Offshore Oil & Gas Industry (specifically LNG) in the same position. The superintendent must mastery the discipline knowledge and sequence of activities.
  • Must have a recognised Technical qualification for the Position.
  • Have confirmed experiences and knowledge to carryout efficiently and safely commissioning and start-up activities.
  • The commissioning superintendent must be skilled in the following competencies:
  • HSSE / Personal Safety/ Incident Classification, Investigation and Reporting / Teamwork & Cooperation / People Leadership /
  • Managing for Results.
