ASSSISTANT COMMISSIONING MANAGER

* Location: Algiers, Algeria
* Status: Rotation (6 days / week - 10 weeks on / 2 week off)
* Duration: 12-18 months
* Starting Date: ASAP
* Languages: French and English



Job Dimension

  • Brownfield & Greenfield - PMC support for alignment of plant and execution of performance test runs.
  • PMC facilitation of integrated organisation set up between Licensor / Contractor at time of commissioning, start up, and operations for performance test runs.
  • Deputise for Commissioning Manager when on R&R.



Qualifications Required

  • Fifteen (15) years relevant work experience in major oil / gas projects.
  • Will have managed a team of specialists in executing the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
  • Fully familiar with procedures and other requirements associated with commissioning. Besides this, familiarity with start-up procedures and operating manuals for process, utilities and offsite.
  • Have to have demonstrated leadership during the implementation of the above important activities in large projects including test run and plant acceptance.
  • Will have experience in Hazop and Safety audits during construction and commissioning.
  • Qualifications: A degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • IT skills: Primavera, PDMS, MS Project.
  • Languages: French and English.
