Main tasks:
• Within the project, the process technician is reporting to the Waste Handling Manager.
• The main duties of the Process Technician for the Waste handling and processing systems are the following:
• System operation within its boundaries (eg. evaporating column, compactor, drum measuring device, filter changing machine), according to the Operating Manual and System description.
• Support to Commissioning Engineer for Test preparation (field Work) and also during execution of the test (eg. preparation and mounting of hose adapters, clamps, bypasses).
• Performance of operating tasks according to Commissioning Instruction in coordination with system commissioning engineer.
• In field operation/line up of system according to Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (PID), operating manual and temporary instruction.
• Filling and Venting of systems (fluid systems) for system restart in the frame of Commissioning scope or after an outage.
• Coordination within the assigned system between the different departments on site like valve or sensor testing. Interface with field teams from Maintenance, Electrical Commissioning, I&C Commissioning, Construction.
• Reporting in a logbook and/or by email operations performed.
• Analyze and report issues on site and prepare short reports.
• Fill existing Result record sheets during the tests according to instruction.
Profile
• Technical Degree required in one of the following disciplines: Fluid Mechanics, Mechanical, Process engineering field.
• At least 2 years' field/outage experience in (nuclear) power plants.
• PWR technology & EPR technology knowledge would be a plus.
• Flexibility in working time due to operating schedule necessities.
• Capability to understand and work with Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's).
• Ability to execute and review simple tasks as per check or instruction list including by himself.
• Good organizational and communication skills across organization, company, cultural boundaries.
• Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Open minded and pro-active, driving for results.
