Job dimension

As a minimum but not limited to:

• To finalize the Project Logistics Execution Plan and the associated Budget in accordance with Project's deadlines

• To develop comparison studies and alternate execution plan when necessary

• To participate to the subcontracting process for the provision of services required for the execution of the logistics plan

• To participate to the implementation of the local content plan in relation with the logistics fields and to report local manhours, activities and expenses in accordance with the Project procedures

• To monitor the permitting issues in relation with logistics and to assist the Project Permitting Manager for the Management of the Permits & Consents

• To implement and to execute the Logistics scope along the Project duration

• To lead the Project Logistics team and to assist for the hiring of the team members (expatriates and Mozambicans)

• To organize the interfaces between the CONTRACTOR's partners and disciplines for its scope of works and to participate as key player in the Offshore Construction Integrated Team

• To manage the subcontracted services provided by third parties for logistics during operations (Service Request Orders, Invoicing, Change Orders,…)

• To act as CONTRACTOR's focal point vis-a-vis the client and its partners

• To complete any day-to-day standard tasks not listed above for a similar project

Position is based in Paris first and then in Mozambique with regular missions to Mozambique in between.

Position report functionally and ultimately to the Project Consortium Mozambique Project Manager and operationally to the SURF Operations Manager and the FLNG Operations Manager

Profile Required

Minimum 10 year experience of similar project in Africa in remote countries.

Notions of Portuguese Language

Management of team (> 10 people of which locals)

Significant experiences of logistics in Angola would be ideal (quite similar process and legislation for clearing and shipping)
